A Blessed Easter

We have been spoiled this year for Easter as we have a 4 day weekend!  I don't think that we have ever had a 4 day Easter weekend since I began teaching.  Lyndon and Carl played all day Saturday and Carl even spent the night with us Saturday night.  The boys were up at 6:00 a.m. to see if the Easter bunny found them!
The first place Lyndon looked was the washing machine because it has been a favorite hiding spot for the Easter bunny.

Lyndon is looking at all of the goodies and wondering who the basket is for....

It then occurs to him that this isn't his Easter basket so it must be Carl's.

After looking in several other places he finds it in his closet.

After eating chocolate the boys & I made resurrection rolls.  The boys enjoyed making the rolls as we read John 19 & 20.
After mass we headed over to Momma & Daddy's.

Momma had giant eggs for the kids again.

All of the kids had all sorts of goodies.

Kristin brought a jump house and all of the kids had fun playing.

My silly husband!

Memere & pep ere with the grandkids!

Organizing his loot!

Then it was time for 4 dozen confetti eggs!

The little ones weren't sure what to do but after seeing the big kids they caught on quickly.

Cody was a good sport!

Chauffeur Lyndon took an adult and Cody and Parker on several rides.

More jump time....

We then headed over to PowPow & PopPop's for supper.

Egg hunting as well!

Lyndon finding his golden egg burried!

These boys are growing-up WAY 2 QUICKLY!!!!!
We had a wonderful Easter.  We are truly blessed to have great family get-togethers!  Everyone gets wrapped up in the day-to-day hustle and bustle so it is nice to have down time.
