Lyndon has wanted to have a water birthday party for a few years. Usually with his birthday at the beginning of September it starts to cool off in the evenings and usually we even get a rain on his birthday weekend. If we were going to pull off a water party we needed to do it in August. We had a busy week preparing for his party during the first week of school!!!
His cake turned out fabulous! I'm always scared we won't have enough cake and then we usually have leftovers.
With it being so hot I had 3 tubs full of drinks. The poor adults were hot watching the kids play in the water.
Water guns were our party favors.
The kids had fun in the swimming pool.....
Tree fort & kiddie pool.....
& on the Big Kahuna!
I think the parents had fun visiting-at least I hope they did.
The water was splished and splashed all night! Just the way Lyndon hoped it would be.

I hope everyone had a great time. I know that Lyndon did, and was very excited.
Looks like we missed a REALLY good time! So sorry we couldn't make, but thanks again for the invite.
