Painting the LIving Room/Dining Room

A few weeks ago Cody and Lyndon went to Lubbock to watch the Panthers win a playoff game and I stayed back to tackle the living room and dining room.  I have been in a light and bright clutter free mood and couldn't wait to tackle these two rooms.  I repainted the ceiling a gray and the walls and trim are the same colors as the master bedroom and my utility room-I'm hooked on these colors.

I have enjoyed my green walls.  I also had rubbed a stain over them which doesn't show very well in the picture.

I have enjoyed my green walls, white trim, and red stained door, but......

Here's a hodge-podge of my Thanksgiving decorations and a glimpse of the new walls.

Excuse the extension cord over the mantle-it will have to do until I get the mantle lowered and have electricity run to the left.

I am enjoying the new look and DE-CLUTTERED these rooms!  Momma and I are having a garage sale and I just keep hauling stuff over to put into her attic.

  2. Beautiful!

Are you going to put your tv over the fireplace? I'm wanting to lower our mantle, but am not sure how it will work out.
