Cody and I rode down in the breaks, by our house to assess the tanks and see how much water they had or hadn't caught in our tiny, BUT still appreciative showers. Immediately I noticed the sweet smell in the air. The culprit was these little tiny purple flowers that filled the air with the smell of grape soda. I had to take Lyndon to smell it a few days later.

Beautiful! The top flowers are called Buffalo Peas and I have heard that horses and cattle LOVE them! I love all the wild flowers too!
