Lyndon's homeroom teacher (who he adores)...he rotates equally between 3 teachers and LOVES them all! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get a picture of the other two.
Lyndon had a wonderful day and comes home daily bragging on his 4th grade experiences!
Hope Lyndon has a wonderful 4th grade year. I can't believe how much he looks like Cody! Yes, we did (still in the process of finishing up) some major renovations to our house this summer. The striped wall you saw in the first day of school pic has now been glazed with a copper metallic color, as has the entire kitchen. It's turquoise with a glaze. I darkened my cabinets, have a prep island and then a massive concrete overlay bar (Myranda Baldwin). We also knocked out two walls between the kitchen and living room, pulled paneling down and painted. I have no umph left to even decorate, so it's all very bare right now. If you ever get bored and want to give out some decorating advice, please come see me! I will definitely post pics when it all gets put back together. Thanks for asking!
I am blessed to be the wife of a great husband, Cody & the mother to a wonderful little boy, Lyndon. I have always been interested in design: 1st wanting to be a fashion designer, & then an interior decorator. I am neither, BUT do love to continually have projects at home & to give advice to family & friends when asked. Another passion of mine is children & I put that passion to work in my classroom as a 3rd grade reading teacher. It is amazing to see students 'enjoying' the learning process. I love to shop (bargains especially). I am always up for a challenge & strive for perfection. I love to spend time with my family & wish I would make more time for friends. I am truly blessed & have choose to use this blog as a way of keeping a scrapbook of Lyndon, share our day-to-day life with family, to express my love for design, & to nosey into other peoples' ideas. I love to look at others' blogs; it reminds me of my love of driving around looking at houses-only I get to peek inside now. I hope you enjoy my blog as much as I have enjoyed creating it.
Such a great mommy! He's one lucky boy!
